In line with regulatory and operational mandates, Safe Circuit Consult Limited was subcontracted by SM Engineering to conduct annual primary and secondary injection testing on the power systems at Goldfields Ghana Limited’s Damang and Tarkwa mining sites.

This periodic testing was crucial to verifying the accuracy, coordination, and reliability of protection relays, CTs, VTs, and circuit breakers throughout their power distribution systems. Our team utilized state-of-the-art test equipment and adhered to international standards (IEC/IEEE) to ensure full system compliance.

The successful execution of this project not only maintained Goldfields’ operational integrity but also ensured safety, uptime, and audit readiness for one of Ghana’s largest gold mining companies.
